Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 9, 2026

Tune432 ("the app") is a music player that plays audio files already stored on your device. This policy explains what the app does and doesn't do with your information.

Summary

Your music and settings

The app reads music files on your device so it can list and play them. Your files are processed only on your device and are never uploaded. Your settings (theme, tuning, EQ, Auto Mix, hidden songs, and your last queue) are stored locally on your device. If Android backup is turned on, Android may include these app settings in your device's own Google backup, as it does for most apps. That backup is managed by Google under your Google account, not by us.

Permissions and why

The app also supports Android Auto and "Open with" for audio files; these use the same on-device files.

In-app purchases

The 24-band EQ is an optional one-time purchase handled by Google Play Billing. Payment is processed entirely by Google; we never see your payment details. Google shares only the purchase status with the app so it can unlock the feature. Google's handling of that data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.
